Soca Warriors coach Russell Latapy says he is looking forward to seeing some tactical improvement from his team when it host regional rivals, Jamaica in an international friendly at the Marvin Lee Stadium, Macoya from 6 pm tomorrow. Latapy was speaking ahead of his team's training session at the match venue yesterday ahead of a training session.
The T&T coach said he was keenly looking forward to the clash with the Jamaicans, who like T&T are using the match as part of their continued preparations for the Digicel Caribbean Cup which kicks off later this month with the qualifying round. Today, the 20-man T&T squad which is being led by bmobile Joe Public's Trent Noel will hold another session ahead of tomorrow's meeting with the "Reggae Boyz", currently ranked second in the Caribbean Football Union, behind T&T.
Looking ahead to tomorrow's match, Latapy who will be on the opposite side of former international rival, Jamaican coach, Theodore Whitmore said he expects the clash to be an intriguing one. Two hours earlier tomorrow, the T&T Under-17 Soca Princesses will face their senior team-mates in a practice match as they continue preparations for the Fifa Under-17 World Cup here in T&T from September 5 to 25.
Host T&T will meet Chile in the opening match of the tournament.
Admission for Wednesday's match is $40 for adults and $20 for kids and will be available match day at the venue.
