The popular What's on... in Tobago magazine has been serving Tobago's visitors for the past seven years by being available in hotels and accommodation providers on the island, as well as in both airports in T&T. The fun guide is made up of the best features published in the What's on...and will be available to the tourism agencies and cultural bodies to have at their disposal for distribution and display at their trade fairs and road shows. It is a 150-page one-off publication expected to be launched at Germany's major tourism fair, the ITB in March 2012 and also at London's World Travel Market in November 2012.
It is designed to be a useful holiday accessory to help visitors get the most out of their stay and to better understand and appreciate the island, its people and their customs. The island's main events, lore, history, religions, culture, contemporary information on the island's artists and artistes, attractions and wild life are all featured in the fun guide. Tourism agencies, banks and relevant ministries like Culture and Marine Affairs will be invited to brand name within its pages. The What's on...is written by Leslie Palmer aka Wounded Soldier, perhaps best recognised for launching the Notting Hill Carnival back in 1973 and also for his involvement in music and arts in London's West Indian communities.
