Lisa Agard has been ap­point­ed chief ex­ec­u­tive of­fi­cer of Guardian Me­dia Lim­it­ed (GML) with ef­fect from May 1.

A re­lease from GML board chair­man Gren­fell Kissoon said Agard would re­place Gabriel Faria, who held the po­si­tion of man­ag­ing di­rec­tor for five years.

"Mr. Faria will be tak­ing up the po­si­tion of Man­ag­ing Di­rec­tor of Carib Brew­ery Lim­it­ed, which is a sub­sidiary of ANSA McAL Ltd," the re­lease said.

Agard was ex­ec­u­tive vice pres­i­dent of Mo­bile and Vice Pres­i­dent of Le­gal at TSTT. She is an at­tor­ney and holds a post­grad­u­ate de­gree in Law from the Lon­don School of Eco­nom­ics.

"Ms. Agard has had Ex­ec­u­tive Man­age­ment train­ing from the Whar­ton School of Busi­ness and Co­lum­bia Uni­ver­si­ty, USA, and from IN­SEAD, France," the re­lease said.
