Lisa Agard has been appointed chief executive officer of Guardian Media Limited (GML) with effect from May 1.
A release from GML board chairman Grenfell Kissoon said Agard would replace Gabriel Faria, who held the position of managing director for five years.
"Mr. Faria will be taking up the position of Managing Director of Carib Brewery Limited, which is a subsidiary of ANSA McAL Ltd," the release said.
Agard was executive vice president of Mobile and Vice President of Legal at TSTT. She is an attorney and holds a postgraduate degree in Law from the London School of Economics.
"Ms. Agard has had Executive Management training from the Wharton School of Business and Columbia University, USA, and from INSEAD, France," the release said.
