Akil Janari Pollard
13 July 1974 – 17 August 2018
The family of the late Akil Jabari Pollard wishes to thank the very many relatives, friends and acquaintances from both his personal, professional and social circles who offered such tremendous support to us, and continue to do, following his untimely death. To all those who attended the funeral, sent flowers and cards, called to offer their condolences and joined us in nightly prayer, our heartfelt thanks in our time of sorrow.
To the medical staff at St Clair Medical emergency unit and the ambulance crew from the Trinidad and Tobago Regiment, we also offer our thanks. He will be dearly missed.
He didn’t deserve such a death… but who says what kind of death we deserve? How is that measured? Does it depend on the good you have done, on your merits, or on what you did wrong, your mistakes? Or is it a balance? (The Informers, Juan Gabriel Vasquez)
