Mean­while, Warn­er said the new chair­man of the board of the Port Au­thor­i­ty is Clyde Spencer. He said Spencer was a for­mer gen­er­al manger of the Port who was very suc­cess­ful dur­ing his stay. Warn­er said Spencer was ac­cept­ed by Cab­i­net last Thurs­day but will be con­firmed this Thurs­day and in­stalled on Fri­day along with the oth­er mem­bers. The busi­ness com­mu­ni­ty was pleased to re­ceive the news and is look­ing for­ward to the much need­ed im­prove­ments.
