TSTT re­cent­ly host­ed com­mu­ni­ca­tions pro­fes­sion­als as well as mem­bers of var­i­ous Cham­bers and Ro­tary Clubs at the TSTT Hos­pi­tal­i­ty Suite, Queen's Park Oval.The event, b part of the Tech Rev­o­lu­tion, ex­posed at­ten­dees to the new world of de­vices avail­able to them for per­son­al as well as busi­ness use. On show were the Black­Ber­ry Q10, Black­Ber­ry Z10, Sam­sung Galaxy S4 and beam de­vices, as well as oth­er ser­vices such as Broad­band, IPTV and Tele­con­fer­enc­ing.

The in­ter­ac­tive ac­tiv­i­ty al­lowed TSTT's tech ex­perts to en­gage mem­bers of the dif­fer­ent stake­hold­er groups while pro­vid­ing first-hand ex­po­sure to new de­vices as well as prod­ucts and ser­vices. It was a com­fort­able set­ting where at­ten­dees were able to ask ques­tions, learnt new us­es and fea­tures of de­vices which they pos­sessed, as well as ex­plored the fea­tures of de­vices they had nev­er seen be­fore. The in­for­ma­tion gained from this ex­pe­ri­ence will en­able them to bet­ter ad­vise their re­spec­tive or­gan­i­sa­tions about fu­ture pur­chas­es or even mo­ti­vate them to con­sid­er chang­ing their own de­vice.

Nicole Ro­driguez-Eligon, Di­rec­tor, Com­mu­ni­ca­tions at the Min­istry of Pub­lic Util­i­ties, com­ment­ed: "This event is a good idea for a meet and greet, es­pe­cial­ly for com­mu­ni­ca­tions folks. The ex­po­sure to new de­vices made me want to pur­chase a phone and al­so made me mar­vel at how dif­fer­ent times are now as com­pared to when I was a teenag­er, giv­en all the things that I now re­alise can be done with a mo­bile de­vice, from re­mote con­trol to con­fer­enc­ing.""This event was ex­e­cut­ed as part of the com­pa­ny's on­go­ing ef­forts to em­pow­er and fa­cil­i­tate de­ci­sion-mak­ers in Gov­ern­ment and In­dus­try," said Ger­von Abra­ham, TSTT's Man­ag­er Ex­ter­nal Re­la­tions and Gov­ern­ment Af­fairs.
