United States mobile development company C7 Creative has expanded its operations to T&T.President and creative director Calvin Bryant, who confirmed the move in a recent newspaper interview, said a lack of infrastructure in T&T makes mobile devices the only reliable way for many people to connect, share information and get work done."Mobile is huge in the Caribbean so we are going to take advantage of the market opportunities created from that," he said.
C7, which creates digital marketing campaigns, SEO, and mobile-based apps for a long list of clients, opened up its office in Trinidad on September 1.Bryant said the opportunity sprung from his personal knowledge of the country and its growing industry. He said he worked on a marketing campaign for a faith-based organization in South Carolina and joined that group on a missionary trip to T&T.
"I saw a bunch of young men there who were interested in tech, anxious for more training, as well as digital opportunities because I'm in the mobile space," Bryant said.Bryant, who just signed his first client out of the Caribbean, said he is hoping to see business generated from all sectors of the local economy.
