TSTT is rebating customers after a software glitch that affected thousands of mobile subscribers.

The company is giving Bmobile customers free data between 1 pm and midnight today, October 15, as it works on resolving the problem.

On Tuesday, a software problem caused incorrect charges to be registered against customers' accounts whenever they used data-related services on their mobile devices. It alsoaffected their ability to make calls and use data services.

TSTT's technical staff is working with its international vendor to prevent the issue from recurring, the company said in a release yesterday.

It added thatthe company also audited its records to ensure that all affected customers could be identified.

"The rebate process got underway at approximately 10 am this morning (Wednesday) and the company estimates that all customers will receive their rebates in less than 24 hours," TSTT said.
