The Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business launched the 2010 cycle of its annual mentorship programme with the participation by 40 alumni and mentors. The third cycle of the project, established in 2008, was officially launched last Thursday at the school's Yara Auditorium. "The mentoring programme was innovative and useful. It offered significant potential to enrich the students learning experience whilst engaging the alumni," stated the Association of MBA Accreditation Council.
The mentorship programme was designed to "provide an avenue to meet and interact, exchange ideas, develop friendships and promote networking among alumni (mentors) and students (mentees) of the business school. The mentoring process includes, but is not limited to, assisting mentees in achieving something that is important to them, providing support and guidance in a manner that empowers mentees with the confidence to pursue their goals and building a professional and personal rapport, in an impersonal setting that facilitates positive and open two-way communication.
