Nestlé marked its 110th an­niver­sary at Stollmey­er’s Cas­tle in Port-of-Spain on Mon­day.

The jour­ney of the Swiss multi­na­tion­al food and drink pro­cess­ing con­glom­er­ate that be­gan in 1914 at Ma­rine Square in Port-of-Spain.

In an an­niver­sary cel­e­bra­tion that at­tract­ed gov­ern­ment of­fi­cials, diplo­mats and busi­ness ex­ec­u­tives, Min­is­ter of Trade and In­dus­try Paula Gopee-Scoon praised Nestlé for its longevi­ty in T&T, and the fact that its brands “have be­come seam­less­ly wo­ven in­to the fab­ric of our Caribbean way of life,” and its con­tri­bu­tion to T&T’s ex­ports.
