Risoul RS will officially open its doors in Trinidad today.
The company will open a new office at the Regus Gulf City business centre, located on Level 8 of the Gulf City Mall Complex.
Risoul RS said this is a strategic step to expand its geographic reach and strengthen its service offerings in the Caribbean particularly following the closure of the previous distributor of Rockwell Automation products in 2021. Rockwell Automation is an American provider of industrial automation and digital transformation technologies
Gerardo Ayala, vice president of Risoul RS Latin America and Caribbean, said in an interview with Guardian Media yesterday, “Trinidad in general has been a very good market for Rockwell Automation in Mexico for more than 30 years. And they gave us the opportunity to establish here as a Rockwell distributor and we see a lot of potential in the industry that has been developing in the last 10 years in this part of the region and the idea is to from here open also the opportunity to interact with other markets around the Caribbean and part of South America.”
Ayala said the office will allow Risoul to manage technical visits and other logistical issues going forward.
Ayala said with today’s opening of store “we already have built a team of sales engineers and product specialists that will give the support locally to our customers. And from there manage to do the technical visits and support and we have our logistics company that will help us manage our products and deliveries to our customers.”
