Risoul RS will of­fi­cial­ly open its doors in Trinidad to­day.

The com­pa­ny will open a new of­fice at the Re­gus Gulf City busi­ness cen­tre, lo­cat­ed on Lev­el 8 of the Gulf City Mall Com­plex.

Risoul RS said this is a strate­gic step to ex­pand its ge­o­graph­ic reach and strength­en its ser­vice of­fer­ings in the Caribbean par­tic­u­lar­ly fol­low­ing the clo­sure of the pre­vi­ous dis­trib­u­tor of Rock­well Au­toma­tion prod­ucts in 2021. Rock­well Au­toma­tion is an Amer­i­can provider of in­dus­tri­al au­toma­tion and dig­i­tal trans­for­ma­tion tech­nolo­gies

Ger­ar­do Ay­ala, vice pres­i­dent of Risoul RS Latin Amer­i­ca and Caribbean, said in an in­ter­view with Guardian Me­dia yes­ter­day, “Trinidad in gen­er­al has been a very good mar­ket for Rock­well Au­toma­tion in Mex­i­co for more than 30 years. And they gave us the op­por­tu­ni­ty to es­tab­lish here as a Rock­well dis­trib­u­tor and we see a lot of po­ten­tial in the in­dus­try that has been de­vel­op­ing in the last 10 years in this part of the re­gion and the idea is to from here open al­so the op­por­tu­ni­ty to in­ter­act with oth­er mar­kets around the Caribbean and part of South Amer­i­ca.”

Ay­ala said the of­fice will al­low Risoul to man­age tech­ni­cal vis­its and oth­er lo­gis­ti­cal is­sues go­ing for­ward.

Ay­ala said with to­day’s open­ing of store “we al­ready have built a team of sales en­gi­neers and prod­uct spe­cial­ists that will give the sup­port lo­cal­ly to our cus­tomers. And from there man­age to do the tech­ni­cal vis­its and sup­port and we have our lo­gis­tics com­pa­ny that will help us man­age our prod­ucts and de­liv­er­ies to our cus­tomers.”
