Jadel Legere is set to be the next major artiste rising out of the Caribbean. Jaw-dropping beauty, vocals spanning from angelic to aggressively raspy and a warm personality blend to define a woman audiences fall in love with at an instant. The young singer/songwriter who is also a law student is focused on establishing a successful international career creating and performing soca, but is also quite adept at performing other genres such as reggae, rhythm and blues, pop and Latin. Jadel was born, Jardine Cherrelle Legere in Woodbrook, Trinidad. She has over the years lived in several parts of the island and is presently resident in both Diego Martin and Tacarigua. Jadel, a nickname given her by family, grew up with a passion for music and the stage. She sang in her primary school choir then later in church. This led to competing in the Trinidad and Tobago National Music Festival and later on gigs at graduation ceremonies, weddings and other functions. Jadel's first appearance before an audience of thousands came when she was invited to do backing vocals for Bajan soca artiste, Biggie Irie at the International Soca Monarch finals when he performed, Big Girls.

That was it, the soca bug had bitten and there was a new focus for Jadel, a focus which has landed plumb into the semi-finals of this year's Play Whe International Groovy Soca Monarch competition. The singer stepped up her game, writing more and seeking a platform from which to launch her new career. Jadel joined the band, Surface, now known as Real Estate. She recorded the single Rambo while with Surface in 2009 and when that band began to experience internal challenges, was invited to join legendary band, Traffik. While with Traffik, Jadel record, Wine On Meh which quickly became one of the hits of Carnival 2K11. Deciding on a solo career, Jadel exited Traffik shortly after Carnival and is now among the top in demand female soca artistes. Already her first release for 2012, On Meh, produced by Madmen Productions, is a hot request item on the radio stations. Her second release, Tumble It, produced by Kernel Roberts became an instant hit upon release. Jadel has her sights set on success and she has the formula to achieve; perseverance, persistence and passion.
