Open let­ter to Works and Trans­port Min­is­ter Jack Warn­er:

I wish to bring to your at­ten­tion the ur­gent need for the con­struc­tion of a pave­ment from the UTT cam­pus lo­cat­ed south of the old Brechin Cas­tle fac­to­ry to Rail­way Road, Cal­i­for­nia.

This pave­ment is ur­gent­ly need­ed be­cause stu­dents at the cam­pus have to walk on the edge of the road which is fre­quent­ly used by trucks and oth­er heavy equip­ment. When­ev­er it rains the area is wa­ter­logged and stu­dents have to re­sort to walk­ing on the road­way, there­by pos­ing a dan­ger to life and limb.

In ad­di­tion, there is al­so need for street lights along this area be­cause stu­dents at­tend­ing evening class­es have to walk through a dark and dis­mal area. I have al­so in­di­cat­ed the need for the con­struc­tion of this pave­ment to our cur­rent par­lia­men­tary rep­re­sen­ta­tive, Rudranath In­dar-singh and strong­ly be­lieve that by seek­ing your as­sis­tance it will come to fruition be­cause of your proac­tive ap­proach in deal­ing with these mat­ters. Con­struc­tion of the pave­ment will bring much need­ed re­lief to the UTT stu­dents.
