It is strange that Cli­co pol­i­cy­hold­ers are not ac­tive­ly pur­su­ing the op­tion to sue Lawrence Duprey and the oth­er for­mer di­rec­tors of Cli­co. I am sure that some of the pol­i­cy­hold­ers have re­ceived over the years more in­ter­est pay­ments than the prin­ci­pal sum in­vest­ed and now oth­er tax­pay­ers, in­clud­ing the so far bad­ly treat­ed pub­lic ser­vants, must pay to main­tain their lifestyles.

They took a risk and ben­e­fit­ed hand­some­ly. I sug­gest a case by case ap­proach.
