All past students of Bishop Anstey High School (St Hilary's), their immediate families and those who like to party with Bishop girls are invited to the Jubilee Hall on Keate Street, Port-of-Spain, tonight for the much anticipated retro fete - Reminisce -hosted by the Old Hilarians' Association. Reminisce is the rebranded "Remember When" from 2010. But, there's a difference. While Remember When was hosted outdoors, Reminisce will be held inside the Jubilee Hall which will be transformed into a disco, the likes of Heritage '67, Rolls Royce Int, Palaver Place and JBs.
The funk is on with music from the 70s, 80s and 90s provided by DJs CG and Dr Ross of 105 FM, and the Master of the Ole Skool-Howie T. With such a dangerous combination to take you back, Reminisce promises to be the ultimate retro experience. The fete starts at 9 pm and this year the party continues until 4 am in response to appeals from last year's patrons who were still partying hard and dripping wet at 3 am.
Finger food will be provided at this semi-inclusive event, while drinks will be available from a cash bar all for $250. Entrance to Reminisce will be on Upper Abercromby Street, which gives direct access to the Jubilee Hall. Tickets are currently available at the school's office on Chancery Lane and from committee members: Wanda: 746-6018, Debbie: 681-2531, Beverly: 742-6884, Marisa: 757-9807, Kamaria: 760-2016, Wendy: 789-0895, Valerie: 746-7379, Natasha: 682-8954 and Siobhan: 683-3333. Limited tickets are available as the Jubilee Hall can accommodate fewer patrons than the spacious yard that was used last year. Get your tickets before they sell out-this party will be great!
