In An Ab­so­lut World You're With The Band was the theme at the launch of the Ab­so­lut Vod­ka Rock Edi­tion at Space la Nou­ba, La Ro­maine, on No­vem­ber 13.?

Brand Man­ag­er for Ab­so­lut Stephen Arneaud de­scribed the event as, "re­al­ly a launch of the new pack­ag­ing for reg­u­lar flavoured Ab­so­lut Vod­ka. The bot­tle, which is wrapped in leather and cov­ered with met­al studs, is a cel­e­bra­tion of the rock and roll lifestyle. It al­so draws the con­sumer in and makes them feel a part of that lifestyle." Arneaud stat­ed that the event was well at­tend­ed, as there were ap­prox­i­mate­ly 200 peo­ple in the up­per por­tion of the pop­u­lar venue, and about 500 be­low.

In keep­ing with the rock and roll theme, en­ter­tain­ment was pro­vid­ed by lo­cal band Black Rose, an ag­gre­ga­tion which has been in­spired by such heavy met­al groups as Ju­das Priest, Metal­li­ca, Iron Maid­en, and Guns & Ros­es, with a no-holds-barred mu­si­cal ap­proach. On the night, there were al­so give­away of bags and oth­er sou­venir items by the Pern­od Ri­card fam­i­ly, which was a co-host of the event. Pern­od Ri­card is one of the largest pro­duc­ers of al­co­holic bev­er­ages, in­clud­ing Ab­so­lut Vod­ka and Scotch whiskeys Chivas Re­gal and Wild Turkey.
