?Blaz­ing hip-hop and sweet R&B will flow at The Alche­my Night­club on Sun­day, as 16 of the coun­try's top acts in those gen­res as­sem­ble to show­case their tal­ents at D Rap­ture Un­plugged.

This in­au­gur­al con­cert event is pro­duced by Rus­haz En­ter­tain­ment Ltd and will fea­ture live per­for­mances from: Spotrus­haz, Chro­mat­ics, Neme­sis, Bonez, Da Face, Dezii, Flipo, GW Flat­bush, John John, La­dy­more, Mr Mic, Phoenix, Rox­ii, Shinez, Ve­ta and XO, all backed by a fab­u­lous live band dubbed Re­be­lu­tion Soul­jah. "Over the last 12 weeks," said D Rap­ture Ra­dio Show co-host Wade "TIM Starr" Chris­t­ian, "these young tal­ent­ed artistes have pre­sent­ed their record­ings to our au­di­ence on 94.1 BOOM Cham­pi­ons. But on this night, they will per­form with a live band and in­ter­act face-to-face with our lis­ten­ers."

"For many of these acts, it will be the very first time they per­form with a band and we're ex­treme­ly thank­ful to Ci­clon En­er­gy Drink for pro­vid­ing them with this op­por­tu­ni­ty." Of course, hip-hop mu­sic and dance go hand-in-hand, so The Flare Mag­ic and Swing Squad Dance Crews will ac­com­pa­ny these young sto­ry­tellers and il­lus­trate their tales with fan­tas­tic moves and all the lat­est dances, topped with en­gag­ing and orig­i­nal chore­og­ra­phy. "Hip-hop and R&B have grown and ma­tured sig­nif­i­cant­ly over the last decade," he added, "and are now poised to ush­er in a new wave of Trin­bag­on­ian tal­ent." "This is the mu­sic that our par­ents lis­tened to as they fell in love with each oth­er in the six­ties and sev­en­ties...and it's the mu­sic that we fell in love with.
