An­ge­lo Mar­celle

Hard work cer­tain­ly does pay and the stu­dents of Foot­light Dance Stu­dio know the say­ing by heart. Un­der the guid­ance of Mar­cia Gill and af­ter a year of danc­ing their "liv­er strings" to a fraz­zle, it was time to col­lect the ac­co­lades.

Held at the Au­zonville Mall Con­fer­ence Cen­tre in Tu­na­puna on Feb­ru­ary 27, 58 stu­dents of dif­fer­ent lev­els came for­mal­ly at­tired for the oc­ca­sion. All of the re­cip­i­ents would have suc­cess­ful­ly com­plet­ed their 2009 ex­am, un­der the ju­ris­dic­tion of tu­tor Mar­cia Gill, who is ac­cred­it­ed by the In­ter­na­tion­al Dance Teach­ers As­so­ci­a­tion (ID­TA).

ID­TA is the largest or­gan­i­sa­tion of dance teach­ers in the world and is based in the Unit­ed King­dom. Foot­light Dance Stu­dio is sit­u­at­ed on 36 New Street in Port-of-Spain. (AM)
