Errol H Renaud is a Trini singer/songwriter and musician who makes his living Down Under, in Sydney, Australia. This son of the soil has been spreading the message of soca, calypso and reggae in his own special way. I got my hand on a copy of his 15-track CD–Errol H Renaud Live, and its quite entertaining.
Errol shows his versatility on the CD that features songs with some interesting titles–Joy, Ride, Move Forward, Just A Memory, All Yuh and Wha Happenin. This tells me the singer just can't escape his Trini roots. I like the songs on this CD especially Ride, Move Forward and Your Song (on which Errol is featured on the steelpan, his instrument of preference). He also has an interesting interpretation of Bob Marley's Trench Town Rock. Errol Renaud should be complimented on a fine CD. You can contact him at www.ehrenand.com.au
