The Par­ent Teacher As­so­ci­a­tion (PTA) of Holy Name Con­vent, Port-of-Spain, launched its first ever Mega Fundrais­ing Raf­fle on No­vem­ber 30.?

Prin­ci­pal, Wendy Aqui, re­ceived the keys to the 1st prize from chief ex­ec­u­tive of­fi­cer, Neal and Massy Au­to­mo­tive Ltd, David Jardim at the Mor­vant show­room–a Hyundai Ver­na 1.4L GLS Sedan.

In ad­di­tion to this ex­cep­tion­al 1st place prize, the raf­fle has 17 oth­er fan­tas­tic prizes, among them, two re­turn tick­ets to Bar­ba­dos; and a To­ba­go va­ca­tion for two; jew­el­ry; spa gift vouch­ers; and a Nin­ten­do Wii gam­ing con­sole.

Raf­fle tick­ets are priced at on­ly $5 each, and a $50 book of tick­ets in­cludes two bonus tick­ets. The pro­ceeds from the raf­fle will go to­wards the school's build­ing fund, which is geared to the ex­pan­sion of fa­cil­i­ties to en­able the de­liv­ery of a wider cur­ricu­lum.
