The T&T based rock "n" roll band joint­pop, will per­form live at the an­nu­al Noise n Toys con­cert on De­cem­ber 14, at The Nex Door Pub on Ari­api­ta Av­enue, Wood­brook . This year Noise n Toys dou­bles as the joint­pop Christ­mas of­fice par­ty and a toy col­lec­tion con­cert.

Pa­trons are asked to bring a toy as part of the door en­try, and all toys col­lect­ed on the night will be dis­trib­uted to var­i­ous un­der­priv­i­leged homes across the coun­try. "It's nor­mal­ly a very fun and en­ter­tain­ing night, and peo­ple go all out to get the toys, even as far as gift wrap­ping and la­belling them with the in­fo of gen­der and age group.

"It's been a very good year for us, with the re­lease of our new al­bum, The Longest Kiss Good­night, and just back from two very suc­cess­ful gigs at the Vir­gin Hol­i­days Mu­sic Fes­ti­val in Bar­ba­dos. This is the sixth edi­tion of Noise n Toys, and this gig is some­thing we are al­ways com­mit­ted to, just to bring some Christ­mas cheer to some chil­dren who are not as priv­i­leged as oth­ers. All we ask is no toy guns, se­ri­ous­ly," said Gary Hec­tor, singer of joint­pop.

Joint­pop band mem­bers, Hec­tor, Da­mon Homer, Dion Ca­ma­cho, Phil Hill, and Jerome Gird­har­rie, will hit the stage around 10.30 pm, and fans can look for­ward to joint­pop favourites like, Mon­day Morn­ing Love Sit­u­a­tion, Love­less Street, $oul$ Go­ing Cheap, and Let's Pray (for rock n roll), plus some sur­prise songs from the band's ex­ten­sive back cat­a­logue.
