A fabulous time was had by all who attended the launch of Ivan and Wendy Kalicharan's C2K10 presentation of Outta D' Rainforest, at Sting Night Club, La Romaine, on October 24. The talented husband and wife team has been producing mas in San Fernando for the past 26 years and has won the coveted Band of the Year title on 15 occasions.
Based on reports from those who attended the launch, it seems that the Kalicharans are well on their way to winning number 16. They won the title last year with their presentation titled Spectrum of the Sea. Some of the sections this year are Morpho Butterfly, Gerbera Flower, Poison Ivy, Oil Spill, Macaw, D' Leopard and Trio Tribe.
