More than 70 ag­gre­ga­tions will vie for ti­tles in to­mor­row evening's stag­ing of the 2009 Prime Min­is­ter's Best Vil­lage Tro­phy Com­pe­ti­tion, sched­uled for 6 pm, at Queen's Hall.

They will be con­test­ing a num­ber of cat­e­gories, in­clud­ing the cham­pi­on of song and dance. In ad­di­tion, 20 young women will face a pan­el of judges to se­lect a new Miss La Reine Rive. The win­ner is ex­pect­ed to be crowned by last year's win­ner, Ru-Anne Car­bralis.

This is the sec­ond seg­ment of the queen pageant, and it in­clude s judg­ing in the evening wear and self ex­pres­sion cat­e­gories. The first seg­ment was held on No­vem­ber 7, at the same venue, when the queens com­pet­ed in the cos­tume and tal­ent cat­e­gories. Show­time is 6 pm.
