It was a night for the ladies at Club Prive in La Romaine recently, when Eureka 2 presented Ladies Night Out. With the usual free drinks on entry for this particular event, patrons had a few more surprises in store. R&B/soca singer Tiva Lee gave a great performance before the lively Prive crowd, warming things up for T&TEC Gayatones singer Ravi Boodram. Opening his set with The Big Dog Slam, he thrilled with Rikki Jai's Mortor and Poowa.

Just when patrons thought it couldn't get better, Synergy Soca Star 2009 winner Richard Valentino, aka Chynee, made his entrance to a hearty round of applause. He began his set with his fairly new single–Chop Chop–before performing his award-winning ditty, They Wanna Be Like. He ended with I Love Carnival, featuring KMC. Chynee received an award from the National Youth Action Cultural Committee at its Top 20 Stars of Tomorrow Awards ceremony earlier this month. The show ended with Richard Trumpet.
