The Net­work on NGOs is cel­e­brat­ing and con­grat­u­lat­ing the women re­cip­i­ents of this year's na­tion­al awards and par­tic­u­lar­ly its mem­bers-Hazel Brown, Di­ana Ma­habir-Wy­att, Bren­da Gopeesingh, Mar­garet Samp­son-Browne and Za­lay­har Has­sanali (who re­ceived the na­tion's high­est award, the Or­der of Trinidad and To­ba­go). The Net­work of NGOs is host­ing a cel­e­bra­to­ry tea to­mor­row, be­tween the hours of 3 pm and 6.30 pm, at the Crowne Plaza Ho­tel Trinidad, Wright­son Road, Port-of-Spain.

Con­tri­bu­tion for this event is $150, and part pro­ceeds go to a sur­vivor of do­mes­tic vi­o­lence. The Net­work of NGOs cel­e­brates the recog­ni­tion and ac­knowl­edge­ment of its mem­bers on the na­tion­al stage and the val­ue now placed to women's con­tri­bu­tion to na­tion­al de­vel­op­ment.
