1 death, 335 new cases of COVID-19 recorded

The Min­istry of Health is re­port­ing there was one COVID-19-re­lat­ed death, as of 4:00 pm to­day, Fri­day 27 May 2022.  That means the death toll from the dis­ease now stands at 3,903 lives lost.

In its re­port for to­day, the Min­istry al­so re­ports that 335 peo­ple have test­ed pos­i­tive for COVID-19. At this time, to­tal ac­tive pos­i­tive cas­es are 9,261.  

Cur­rent­ly, 194 peo­ple cur­rent­ly are be­ing treat­ed in hos­pi­tal for the dis­ease, the Min­istry re­ports.

On the vac­ci­na­tion front… some 712,452 peo­ple in the coun­try are ful­ly vac­ci­nat­ed, hav­ing com­plet­ed ei­ther a one-dose or two-dos­es reg­i­men of a COVID-19 vac­cine.  This means 50.9% of the pop­u­la­tion is now ful­ly vac­ci­nat­ed against the dis­ease.

And some 157,512 peo­ple have re­ceived their boost­er dos­es of a COVID-19 vac­cine, as of to­day, Fri­day, the Min­istry’s up­date re­ports.
