Armed robbers walked through an open doorway inside a house in San Fernando yesterday and robbed a couple of over $38,800 in valuables. Police said around 3 pm, Rajesh Dwarika, 41, and his wife, Mala, were at their home on Cipero Road, Victoria Village, San Fernando, when two men wearing masks and dark clothing walked inside the house. Both victims were ordered to lie on the floor. They were then tied up and gagged. The robbers ransacked the house and stole $10,000 in cash, four cellular phones, worth $4,100, and $24,700 in jewelry. They then fled on foot.
