Ron­don said he was heart­ened to see for­mer chair­men and coun­cil­lors on the walk­a­bout. He said the PNM had start­ed to re­build but al­so need­ed re­pairs and sin­cer­i­ty. Among those at­tend­ing the meet­ing was for­mer am­bas­sador to Cana­da Camille Robin­son-Reg­is. An­oth­er speak­er, for­mer min­is­ter Arnold Pig­gott, co-or­di­na­tor for To­co/San­gre, said that con­stituen­cy was a lead con­stituen­cy which would be able to help the PNM get back in­to Gov­ern­ment. Pig­gott said it was not easy to be in Op­po­si­tion but the PNM had been there be­fore.
