"I re­mem­ber when he want­ed to be­come a priest, at the time quite a num­ber of peo­ple be­lieved that that was not the best choice for a bright man with so many op­por­tu­ni­ties in so many dif­fer­ent fields, but he was com­mit­ted, he recog­nised that he had the call­ing, he fol­lowed the call­ing and now he is at a very high lev­el," Lon­don said.
