Say­ing that the doc­tors and nurs­es have lost all faith, trust and con­fi­dence in him, he said, "They will con­tin­ue to ag­i­tate for your re­moval for you seem not to un­der­stand that of all the re­sources, the great­est re­source is the hu­man re­source." Ac­cus­ing him of turn­ing his back on poor peo­ple who come to the south­ern gen­er­al hos­pi­tal, he said he could not think of one doc­tor or nurse who was in sup­port of him.

"And (I) must tell you that I do fear for your safe­ty and se­cu­ri­ty, for you have hurt too many, too deeply," said Cha­toor­goon, who added that Bo­doe was the wrong per­son to head the largest RHA in the coun­try. When con­tact­ed Dr Bo­doe re­fused to say whether he would con­sid­er step­ping down. "All I can say is I do not think it is ap­pro­pri­ate to dig­ni­fy Dr Cha­toor­goon's al­le­ga­tions with a re­sponse.I refuse to be drawn in­to any pub­lic squab­ble with an em­ploy­ee of the SWRHA," he added.
