Late tele­vi­sion pre­sen­ter Allyson Hezeki­ah-Hen­nessy was an icon and an in­sti­tu­tion in T&T, ac­cord­ing to Prime Min­is­ter Kam­la Per­sad- Bisses­sar.The Prime Min­is­ter, on a tour yes­ter­day at Mt Hope Ma­ter­ni­ty Hos­pi­tal, com­ment­ed on Hen­nessy's pass­ing.Hen­nessy died on Sat­ur­day night at St Clair Med­ical Cen­tre af­ter falling ill in April.Per­sad- Bisses­sar said: "We mourn her pass­ing, every­one knew Allyson, she was an icon and an in­sti­tu­tion. We send our con­do­lences to her loved ones.""It seems we've lost...we lose peo­ple every day, with the pass­ing of Mr (Ken Val­ley) and now Allyson- I'm sure the na­tion is in mourn­ing."
