A Pastor of an Open Bible Church says justice has not been served in the death of security guard Denise Rackal who was mauled by four pitbulls in Chaguanas on Monday. Pastor Lutchman Singh, of the Indian Trail Open Bible Church, made the comment yesterday speaking with the media after Rackal's funeral service at the Open Bible Standard Church, Eastern Main Road, Laventille. Singh said "justice had not been served". He called on law makers to bring the legislation into effect so that the woman's death would have not been in vain. Describing her death as "horrific," Singh said without such laws, "I am not safe, you are not safe, none of us are safe."

Rackal, 46, an employee of Personal Safety and Security Training Limited, was mauled by the dogs as she walked along Flambuoyant Crescent, Edinburgh 500. The dogs belonged to a police officer. At the service yesterday Rackal was described as a woman who, despite difficulties, was full of life. Anyse Calder, said her aunt would always be remembered for her kindness and her devotion to her three children. Rackal leaves to mourn her husband Lionel and her children Chad, Wendell and Vana.
