Tues­day is movie night! As part of We­Beat cel­e­bra­tions in St James, the trinidad and to­ba­go film fes­ti­val (ttff) is host­ing a movie night from 7-9. The venue is the St James Am­phithe­atre and ad­mis­sion is free. Found­ed in 2006 and pre­sent­ed by Flow, the ttff is an an­nu­al cel­e­bra­tion of the best films from Trinidad and To­ba­go and the Caribbean, the Caribbean di­as­po­ra, and from Latin Amer­i­can coun­tries in the Caribbean Basin.

The movies be­ing shown are Africa Unite, a US-made doc­u­men­tary about a Bob Mar­ley trib­ute con­cert in Ethiopia, and The Sus­pect, a dra­mat­ic short made by a Trinida­di­an di­rec­tor. The ttff re­ceives lead­ing spon­sor­ships from RBC/RBTT and is sup­port­ed by the Trinidad and To­ba­go Film Com­pa­ny, the Na­tion­al Gas Com­pa­ny and the Tourism De­vel­op­ment Cor­po­ra­tion.
