A late af­ter­noon raid in east Port-of-Spain yes­ter­day re­sult­ed in the ar­rest of 22 men. The ex­er­cise took place on Nel­son and George streets, be­tween 1 pm and 3 pm. Sev­er­al hous­es were searched by po­lice with a quan­ti­ty of mar­i­jua­na, co­caine and firearms be­ing seized. The ex­er­cise was co-or­di­nat­ed by ASP Sa­hadeo Singh and in­clud­ed the Besson Street CID and mem­bers of the Ca­nine Unit. (DA)
