Po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing a re­port in which a nine year-old girl was re­port­ed­ly sex­u­al­ly as­sault­ed by a pen­sion­er at his home in Pleas­antville. Ac­cord­ing to re­ports, rel­a­tives of the child re­port­ed the mat­ter to po­lice of­fi­cers at the San Fer­nan­do Po­lice Sta­tion on Mon­day.

It is al­leged that over the East­er hol­i­day week­end, the child went to the home of an 87-year-old man who took his hand and placed it in­side her cloth­ing and be­tween her legs. Mean­while, po­lice were up to late yes­ter­day, con­tin­u­ing their search for miss­ing 15 year-old Siparia West Sec­ondary stu­dent Fe­li­cia Lal­man.

Lal­man, of Le­gal Trace, Latchoos Road, Pe­nal, was last seen around 7.45 am on Fri­day. The girl told her moth­er Michelle Lal­man, 33, that she was off to her part–time job at Donut Boys on the SS Erin Road, Pe­nal. How­ev­er, she failed to re­turn home af­ter her shift and checks with rel­a­tives and friends proved fu­tile. Any­one with in­for­ma­tion is asked to con­tact 647-1233/8884/8888.
