The following traffic routes at the interchange between the Churchill Roosevelt Highway (CRH) and the Uriah Butler Highway (UBH) came into effect from 6 a.m. on October 13th.
New Routes at Highway Interchange
SOUTH TO NORTH
Proceed along the northbound lane of the UBH and keep right after the Port of Spain exit, and proceed North.
SOUTH TO EAST
Proceed along the northbound lane of the UBH and keep right after the Port of Spain exit, and proceed North.
WEST TO NORTH
Proceed east, keeping left along the CRH after the Aranguez overpass. Proceed past the south exit ramp and exit the highway via the new West to North Ramp to access the UBH northbound.
EAST TO NORTH
Proceed west along the CRH and keep left upon passing Valpark Shopping Plaza. Exit the highway onto the new frontage road and keep right. Upon passing the entrance to Grand Bazaar, move to the left lane and proceed straight under the new UBH overpass to access the East to North Clover and onto the UBH northbound. Note traffic lights across the UBH southbound are in effect.
EAST TO SOUTH
Proceed west along the CRH and keep left upon passing Valpark Shopping Plaza. Exit the highway onto the New frontage road and keep right. Upon passing the entrance to Grand Bazaar, move to the left lane and exit onto the existing the UBH southbound. Note traffic lights across the UBH southbound are in effect.
EAST TO EAST
Proceed west along the CRH and keep left upon passing Valpark Shopping Plaza. Exit the highway onto the new frontage road and keep right. Upon passing the entrance to Grand Bazaar, move to the left lane and proceed straight under the new UBH overpass to access the East to North Clover and onto the UBH northbound.Exit left onto the new South to East Clover and proceed onto the CRH eastbound. Note traffic lights across the UBH southbound are in effect.
