There are 27 additional COVID-19 cases in Tobago, bringing the island’s current active infections to 324.
That’s according to the update for Wednesday 2nd March 2022, released by the Division of Health, Wellness and Social Protection, in the Tobago House of Assembly (THA).
The Division also reports there have been no new COVID-19 deaths in Tobago over the past 24 hours, which means the total number of deaths on the island remains at 244. The most recent deaths were recorded on Tuesday 1st March 2022.
Currently, seven (7) people are hospitalised with COVID-19, four (4) of whom have not been vaccinated at all against the disease, while three (3) persons have been fully vaccinated.
The Division’s update also reports that at present, the total number of people in Tobago who have recovered from COVID-19 since March 2020, is now 6,753.
