Police are searching for a gunman who shot three friends in Pleasantville, San Fernando on Tuesday night.
The victims, ages 17, 18 and 19, did not suffer any life threatening injuries, police said.
According to reports, around 8.20 pm, the three were standing at the front of the home of the 18-year-old victim at Cattleya Drive when a gunman jumped over a wall and fired five shots at them.
The assailant then escaped in a waiting vehicle. One of the victims was shot in the right side buttocks, the other in his upper left leg and the third in his lower left leg.
They were treated at the San Fernando General Hospital.
Mon Repos Police are investigating.
Chinese restaurant robbed in Gasparillo
Bandits escaped with cash and other items after robbing a Chinese restaurant and bar in Gasparillo on Tuesday night.
Reports stated that around 7.55 pm the proprietor of Yi Dong Chinese Restaurant and Bar at Reform Main Road was conducting sales when three men wearing masks and gloves entered.
They got into the establishment after one of the suspects passed through an open space in the internal burglar-proofing.
They robbed the proprietor at gunpoint of an undisclosed sum of cash, and a quantity of assorted alcohol and cigarettes.
While leaving, they robbed a 50-year-old woman of her A53 Samsung cellphone. The bandits escaped in a white hatchback vehicle.
Gasparillo police are investigating.
