The third murder victim in the mass shooting at Icacos, Cedros, has been identified as fisherman Jabari Kenyon Abiola.
Police said he was 26 years old and resided at Location Park, Cochrane Village, Guapo.
The two other deceased men were identified as fishermen Kareem Celestine, 36, of Icacos Village, Cedros, and Joshua Sadoo, 21, of Fanny Village, Point Fortin.
They were among six people shot by masked assailants along the beach from Icacos Point. The injured victims were all Venezuelan migrants—a 15-year-old girl, a 24-year-old woman and a 45-year-old man.
Some of the victims were in their homes at the beachfront around 2 am on September 5, when four masked men approached and opened fire on them without warning. Sadoo’s body was found inside a white Nissan B14.
Police believe the shooting was drug-related.
