Hours af­ter Princes Town busi­ness­man Aaron Ho­sein was robbed of over $.5 mil­lion in valu­ables, po­lice ar­rest­ed four sus­pects from Beetham Gar­dens in con­nec­tion with the crime.

The ac­cused, aged 19 to 22, were ar­rest­ed by North­ern Di­vi­sion Task Force of­fi­cers dur­ing an ex­er­cise around mid­day yes­ter­day.

Po­lice raid­ed sev­er­al homes in a bid to find the stolen loot.

Ho­sein, 36, who owns JD's mall, was asleep at his Na­pari­ma/Ma­yaro home around 2.45 am on yes­ter­day, when he was awak­ened to a loud crash. Two men about came in­to the bed­room and tied him up. They then stole TT$100,000 in cash, US$2,500, £3,500 and $250,000 in gold and di­a­mond jew­ellery. They lat­er forced Ho­sein to open a safe and al­so took his Glock pis­tol and 11 rounds of am­mu­ni­tion.

The four sus­pects spent the night at the Besson Street Po­lice Sta­tion. They are ex­pect­ed to ap­pear on iden­ti­fi­ca­tion pa­rades to­day.
