The Ministry of Health has recorded another COVID-19 related death, an elderly female with co-morbidities.
This brings the total number of deaths to 56.
The total number of active cases stands at 2329.

The Ministry of Health provides the following clinical update as of the morning of Tuesday, 15th September, 2020:
Number of samples submitted to the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA), the UWI and other local sites for testing for COVID-19. 27,621
Number of unique patient tests completed 24,578
Number of repeated tests 3,043
Number of samples which have tested positive at public and private facilities in Trinidad and Tobago 3,183

The Ministry of Health provides the following update:
· 42 additional persons have tested positive for COVID -19.
The 42 positive cases reported show results from samples taken during the period September 4th to September 14th, 2020. Therefore, this figure is NOT representative of the positive cases over the last 24 hours only. All established protocols have been implemented.
· The Ministry of Health regrets to inform the public that there is an additional COVID-19 related death. The person is an elderly female, with co-morbidities. This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 56.
· 11 persons have been discharged.

(2061) patients have been home isolated under the continuous monitoring of the respective County Medical Officer Health (CMOH) offices.
(42) new patients will be processed for admission at the discretion of the CMOHs.
