Murder victim, Princes Town father of two Ronnie Hosein suffered multiple stab wounds in the neck.
This was confirmed by the police yesterday following an autopsy at the Forensic Science Centre in Port-of-Spain.
Hosein’s wife found his bloody body in their unfinished house in Princes Town on Monday after he failed to pick up their son from school.
Hosein, 45, was an electrical and instrumentation technician.
His wife told police that around 7.10 am on Monday, she left him at their home and went to work. She last spoke with him on his cellphone around 9 am.
However, she said around 4.20 pm, her son’s teacher called her because her husband had not picked him up from school. She tried calling him and went to her sister-in-law’s home in search of him.
Around 5.15 pm, the woman and her sister-in-law went to Baboolal Trace, Garth Road, where she and her husband were constructing a two-story house.
She saw her husband’s Honda Civic parked on the roadway with the keys on the front seat.
Upon entering the house, they saw him lying on the floor in the bathroom area in a pool of blood.
