Come Jan­u­ary 31 beach­es will be al­lowed to open from 5 am to 6 pm. This is ac­cord­ing to the Min­is­ter of Health Ter­rence Deyals­ingh dur­ing Wednes­day's press con­fer­ence.

He said the four-hour ex­ten­sion in open­ing time comes af­ter dis­cus­sions be­tween the Prime Min­is­ter and the To­ba­go House of As­sem­bly Chief Sec­re­tary, Far­ley Au­gus­tine.

He warned peo­ple not to host af­ter beach limes.

He said the ex­ten­sion will in­clude swamp and reef tours, which can op­er­ate at 50 per cent ca­pac­i­ty.
