Caribbean Airlines has begun to operate a reduced schedule on the domestic air bridge between Trinidad and Tobago in response to the new COVID-19 restrictions issued by Government, over the weekend.
An official advisory from the airline states that from tomorrow—Thursday 20 August 2020—the domestic air bridge between both islands will operate a reduced schedule to provide essential services only.
CAL advises its customers that it will continue to actively manage the air bridge and adjust its operations as required.
The airline notes that customers can benefit from a waiver for the domestic date change fee for tickets purchased until August 30, 2020, for travel until September 30, 2020.
CAL also assures its stakeholders that the Cabin and Flight Crews are operating in full compliance with the instructions of the Public Health Authorities and follow strict protocols.
The airline says passenger loads will be limited to ensure social distancing on flights. It is urging the public to travel only when absolutely necessary.
In addition, all customers are reminded that they must wear face masks at all time—at check-in, while boarding and during the flight.
Passengers are advised to visit www.caribbean-airlines.com, download the mobile app or contact the Reservations Sales and Service Centre for details on their specific flight.
