Days after a deadly home invasion in Carlsen Field, police are investigating an incident where bandits broke into a family’s home in the area.
Police said at 4.49 am on Wednesday, the victims, ages 25 and 18, secured their home by locking all windows and doors and retired to bed.
However, around 10 am they were awakened by a loud noise. Upon checking, they saw two men ransacking the living room. The men then jumped out of a window and left.
The victims immediately contacted the police and during checks realised US$700 was stolen.
Police said they received a description of the two suspects and are continuing investigations.
On Monday morning, 27-year-old Christopher Christian was shot and killed and his 66-year-old father, Matthew, was injured as they wrestled with bandits during a home invasion.
