Po­lice have de­tained scores of Venezue­lan na­tion­als in San­ta Flo­ra in South Trinidad.

Many of those de­tained were car­ry­ing back­packs, sug­gest­ing that they had re­cent­ly come ashore.

We're told that close to 100 were de­tained.
