The coun­try’s mur­der count went up by three be­tween Tues­day and Wednes­day af­ter three young men were killed, bring­ing the tal­ly to 406 for the year so far.

In the first in­ci­dent on Tues­day evening, res­i­dents of Va­len­cia Old Road in Va­len­cia heard sev­er­al loud ex­plo­sions just af­ter 7 pm.

Up­on check­ing, they found three peo­ple bleed­ing from gun­shot wounds.

They were all tak­en to the San­gre Grande Hos­pi­tal, where Michael Tran­coso, 26, died. A 29-year-old man al­so re­mains in crit­i­cal con­di­tion at the hos­pi­tal.

Ap­prox­i­mate­ly one hour lat­er in En­ter­prise, Ch­agua­nas, Dil­lon Lewis, 31, of Wal­cott Lane, was shot dead. He was near a bar at Chrissie Ter­race when gun­shots were heard. When peo­ple checked they found Lewis, al­so known as “Toe Toe,” with a gun­shot wound to the head. He died at the scene.

And just af­ter 2 pm yes­ter­day, Tester Suther­land, 20, was shot dead at Plover Cres­cent, Mal­oney. Ac­cord­ing to po­lice re­ports, res­i­dents heard rapid gun­fire and when they checked, they found Suther­land suf­fer­ing from mul­ti­ple gun­shot wounds. He al­so died on the scene.
