Gunmen called by party-goer in Curepe slayings

Police believe that a patron who was attending a birthday party at La Cabana Club, Knowles Street Curepe on Sunday made a telephone call to gunmen who later stormed the establishment killing five men. On Tuesday, officers of the North Eastern Division Task Force shot and killed Tyrone “T” “Spoon” Randy Brown and Hamza Friday during a confrontation at a house on Garrick Street Sawmill Avenue, Morvant.
Both men were later identified by witnesses at the Forensic Science Centre as the suspects responsible for the killings at the club. Investigators probing the case said the call, which was made via cell phone, gave information to the gunmen about Ray James, one of the men killed at the bar.
“What is certain is that when the killers entered the establishment, they walked straight to a particular area of the bar where James was liming...They knew exactly where to go, which indicates someone at the party made a call moments before the shooting took place,” a police source said yesterday. James, 23; Damian Punnette, 25; Hakeem Vickles, 17; Kerron Charles, 24; and Glen Morris, 26, were killed in the incident. Kevin Parris, 21, and Grima Selassie, 16, were injured.

Unless the police know for
Unless the police know for sure or just blowing smoke up somebody behind, they only speculating. If they only speculating it seems absurd to do so out loud to reporters in what I assume is still an active investigation.
If I was Philbert, once I was done weeding bad cops out I would go after these who always blabbing when they shouldn't. So when I see an article like this with statements from 'the police', I would call ah big meeting, say since is not me who talk to the press it must be the other police officer and then fire him. Of course that would leave only me in the service but so be it.
Anyway let me come back to now and continue the speculation:
....... or the two men could have scoped things out from outside first and saw their target then went in...... or one of the killers could have been at the party and left to go get his buddy so they had enough fire power, after all it only takes mashing the wrong person foot in ah party tuh get killed now.... or the two men could have innocently gone to the place, spot folks they had ah beef wid from before and decide to settle the score right then and there
To see real police investigating real murders forget dem fake CSI shows, try something like The First 48. No boobs hanging out on it though so it not for everybody.
