A 31-year-old man was freed yesterday of having sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old girl. Peter Dickson, also called “Corbeaux”, of Point Fortin, was found not guilty by a nine-member jury in the San Fernando Second Criminal Court.
He was before Justice Anthony Carmona charged with having sexual intercourse with a female under the age of 14 and grievous sexual assault. It was alleged the incident took place on June 8, 2003, behind the Point Fortin Junior Secondary School. Dickson was represented by attorney Rubert Frank while State prosecutor Nizam Khan presented the prosecution’s case.
