Magistrates worried about security
A sitting time bomb waiting to explode. This was how several magistrates described yesterday’s incident at the Rio Claro Magistrates’ Court in which murder accused Peter Garcia was shot and killed by two gunmen. The judicial officers, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said they too felt threatened following the brazen attack.
“Just as the gunmen launched an attack at the Rio Claro Magistrates’ Court at that prisoner, we too as magistrates could be attacked while on our way to the court. “All it takes is for someone to be angry at a decision we may give in a matter and crapaud smoke our pipes, since we live in a copy-cat society today,” a magistrate said yesterday.
“Today its Garcia and tomorrow it could be us,” the magistrate said. But, in an immediate response, Chief Magistrate Sherman McNicolls promised to look into the matter. “I just heard about it. I am going to deal with it right now,” McNicolls told reporters moments after he emerged from the 4A Court where a traffic charge against him was dismissed. Senior Magistrate Joanne Connor, who is in charge of the Rio Claro Court was expected to submit a report to Mc Nicolls on the incident.

Folks, your attention to the truth is slipping.
It's not surprising to see
It's not surprising to see magistrates fearing for their lives and safety when some are playing musical chairs with courts and insurance to facilitate their friends and colleagues.
When the judicial system breaks down, the law of the jungle prevails.
I really don't know why
I really don't know why judicial officers or anyone else might be concerned about this boldface killing in Rio Claro,
Our hard-working Acting Police Commissioner PROMISES to fix things.
I trust this man with my Prime Minister's life.

I hope the gunmen go at the magistrate who dismissed the case against Mc Nichols. You dont bent the laws for your FRIENDS.
magistrates should be
magistrates should be concerned of the people they are releasing on the streets or those they sold their souls to. you know who you are.
they should not worry unless they know they done something to become a target or they financing gangs. these are mostly hits or people who has done wrong and people put a hit contract out on them. when you lay down with dogs, you must come up with fleas. if you laying down with the prime minister it is considered the same as laying down with dogs...........watchout and check yourself......... peace out
